This group would be for current beaders and led by Eva Mogensen, an experienced jewelry maker, beader and teacher. If you have never done beading, Eva offers a two-hour introductory class outside of the WWC.

Beaders generally meet the 4th Thursday of the month at 1 P.M. at Eva's home. Check your email for current info.

Bring your project and come enjoy the company!

From Eva: I started making jewelry for myself and for gifts over 17 yrs. ago when I lived in FL. I was working full time as a business consultant and it was a way to relax at the end of the day instead of watching TV. Word of mouth spread and orders starting coming in. I then took a few pieces of my jewelry to a couple of shops and sold them all! One thing led to another and Wonderland Art began. After moving to PA for work in 2002 I decided to pick up again and built up my business to 8 stores by the time I retired from my consulting job in 2007.
I moved to Durham in June 2012 and I am presently teaching jewelry making classes at Carolina Meadows and Carol Woods retirement communities. I am excited about leading a group for the WWC members.

Cece and Susan show off the bracelets they made with Eva's help.
