Beginning in 2006, the ladies of the Woodcroft Women's Club have been collecting donations for the Durham Crisis Response Center. The shelter provides a safe place for women and children of domestic or sexual violence. The DCRC shelter houses over two hundred women and children every year, requiring lots of odds and ends to keep the household running. DCRC relies on gifts from the community to make stays at the shelter as comfortable as possible.

Remember to ask your friends if they have unwanted items they can share too!



Professional services, such as cleaning, organizing, painting, plumbing, electrical work, landscaping and more, are extremely helpful and allow us to provide more services directly to clients. If you can mow the grass, fix a leaky sink or handle a hammer, they have a job for you. Please email the DCRC shelter for more information.





DCRC is in need of gifts for Christmas, like last year, for the moms and kids. If you are able to give any of the following new items, please bring to the November meeting or call the group lead below to pick up the items by mid-December:
