Mark your calendar for the Spring Yard Sale fundraiser.  It will be held at the Woodcroft Swim & Tennis Club on Saturday, March 30, 2019, with the sale beginning at 8:00 AM.

Additional information: Set up 7:00 - 8:00 AM ONLY! By 7:45 AM all vehicles must be parked to allow for pedestrian free flow. No sale of concessions as these items will be sold by WWC for charity fundraising.

BEFORE LEAVING: your space must be clean of all sale items and trash.

Club members can: invite friends, co-workers, and neighbors to rent a parking place. Bake cookies, brownies, and cupcakes for the bake sale. Volunteer to help the day of the sale. We need people to direct parking and man the concession stands.

More information will be posted soon.

At the February meeting, Patrick Mucklow, the Executive Director of the Museum of Durham History, will be our speaker.  The museum opened on October 12, 2013 at 500 West Main Street, which is the former site of the Durham bus station.

The museum documents and shares stories about Durham's past and the people that make it great.  We'll learn about the "story squad," a group of volunteers who conduct oral history interviews at the museum.  Patrick will not only be talking about the museum itself, but also the Durham 150 project.

Come and learn more about this town we live in!

Eva M will offer another mini fund-raising auction.  Come early and bring cash or your checkbook.  See the newsletter for items that will be offered.

Please bring your donations to the February meeting for the Durham Crisis Response Center (DCRC). They are in need of toilet paper, cleaning supplies or personal hygiene items.

Also remember your excess coins for our newest fundraiser Spare Change for Change.

Our theme this year is: WOODCROFT WOMEN'S CLUB ROCKS!

Do you know of someone in our club who needs a get-well wish, or someone who has a special occasion coming up?  Please contact Jeff C., our Sunshine person, so she can send a card on behalf of the club.
