Our speaker will be Regina Mitchell, the Volunteer Coordinator for the Duke Homecare and Hospice Program.   Duke Homecare and Hospice provides services for a nine-county area in central North Carolina.  The hospice component of this program provides palliative care to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients and their loved ones. Care is provided in patients' homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and Duke hospice inpatient facilities in Hillsborough and Durham.  In addition to hospice services, bereavement services are also available.  The mission of the Bereavement Services component is to facilitate a safe and healing grief process for persons of all ages who are adjusting to a loss due to death.

Please bring your donations for The Durham Crisis Response Center (DCRC). Look for an email list of current needs prior to the November meeting.

Our newest fundraiser is Spare Change for Change. Bring your coins.  Eva Mogensen will offer another mini fund-raising auction. Come early & bring cash or your checkbook.

Our theme this year is: WOODCROFT WOMEN'S CLUB ROCKS!

Do you know of someone in our club who needs a get-well wish, or someone who has a special occasion coming up?  Please contact Jeff C., our Sunshine person, so she can send a card on behalf of the club.
