In line with this year’s theme, we hope to have the concept of caring, compassion, and communication as the base for our
speakers to help pay it forward.
OUR SPEAKER FOR OUR FEBRUARY MEETING:
Our Speaker for February is Ms. Andrea Case who has created the Triangle Kindness Project on Instagram. Come and hear all about it and maybe, just maybe, we will all be able to figure out Instagram and Snapchat and all those other things we know nothing about.
Andrea will speak on kindness as activism. Kindness is such a simple concept, and yet many of us might go days or even months without performing a random act of kindness. She'll explain how five minutes a day of kindness can change your life, your community, and the world.

Monthly SILENT AUCTIONS at the general meetings will continue this year. Eva M will bring new or nearly new items donated to the Club and display them as silent auction items. We hope you will come a few minutes earlier than normal so you can see what is available. Bring cash or checkbook and bid on some items.

What: WWC Pub Trivia Fundraiser
Where: Tomato Jake's - Renaissance Plaza, Durham
Benefit for: Independent Animal Rescue (IAR), in honor of Rebecca Cunningham
Tomato Jake's will donate to the IAR (a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization) 20% of all food and beverages (including wine and beer) purchased by our members using a voucher available from us. Seek participation from family, friends, and neighbors to support this worthy cause so dear to Rebecca's heart while enjoying high-quality made-from-scratch pasta, salads, and pizza from Tomato Jake's. This offer applies to both restaurant and take-out orders, but not deliveries.
