There are several volunteer positions within the club which provide support for the club. Each year, all members are welcome to volunteer for one or more of these support positions, and are invited to step forward if they would like to be the chair.
Greeters: Formerly known as Ambassadors, the Door Greeters meet arriving members and guests at the meetings. The Epworth doors are auto-locking, so Door Greeters will stay near the doors to let folks in prior to the meeting and for a couple minutes after meeting starts.
Hospitality: The Hospitality group is responsible for providing refreshements at the meetings and to assist with setup.
Newsletter: The holder of this position will collect input from Group Chairs and Board Members and create the club newsletter which is sent electronically Sep - Nov, and Jan - May.
Photos: Everyone is welcome to send in Photos of events as we document our activities throughout the years.
Sunshine: The sunshine member(s) send out cards to members who may need a little note of cheer.
Marketing: We are always looking for members who wish to get our activities known to the public.
Nomination Committee: Each year, this group will reach out to members to find those with an interest in filling a position as a board member. Nominations will be presented to the club in March.
Webmistress: This position maintains this website and requires a comfort level with online editing. Knowledge of HTML, SQL, & PHP is a plus.
AV Support: Training by the Epworth staff is required for any member who wishes to assist at meetings by setting up, supporting, and shutting down the audio and overhead projection systems.
