Our 2025-26 Theme: Reaching Beyond Ourselves
This year we are celebrating our 40th Anniversary 2025-2026
Our next General Meeting will be on January 6, 2026 at 7PM. Our Speaker, Frank Fee, will speak on the topic of Plague and Protest: Smallpox, Newspapers & Early American Dissent. Frank is a renowned professor of Journalism and Mass Communication at UNC/CH and his presentation will bring the 1700s to life as he explores how early journalists were already shaping public opinion when fear and danger were everywhere.
All members and guests are invited to join us.
Our December 2, 2025 General Meeting was a fabulous, well-attended gathering with lots of friendship & laughter as we sampled sweet & savory finger foods, enjoyed a toast to our 40th year, watched a video of events past and present, chuckled through some games highlighting our club, and remembered former members who have passed.
