Our Original Photo Albums
1986-2013
Remember when photos were taken with a camera and film and we had to wait a week to see what they looked like? When we got them, we stored them in large photo albums, and comments were added to the backs of the photos. Fortunately for us, the early members of the Woodcroft Women's Club documented and saved so many special images of these original activies. There are several years worth of these photo albums which were first started in mid-1986 and continued through club year 2012-2013.
We are delighted to share that the photo albums are being scanned and put online for the enjoyment of our members.
How to access the photo album scans of Volumes 1 through 4.
- Log into the Members section of this website
- Select "Club Year Photo Gallery"
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the volume you wish to view.
- You will be directed to a Google Drive list of photos.
- Double-click on a picture name and it will open a slideshow.
Each photo is named based on the "YearMonthDay_Event_photoNumber" naming convention. E.g. "19851216_HolidayLights 0" is the first photo of the Woodcroft Holiday Lights taken on December 16, 1985.
These scans are high print quality (300dpi) and can be downloaded and cropped if you wish to save a specific page or crop a specific photo.
Album Volume 5 (June 2002 - Nov 2003) and the four book albums are scheduled to be scanned and added to the list in the near future, so keep watching this page!
